When someone says the word 'notable' to me, I think of gold. When I think of gold, I think of riches. When I think of riches, I think of cash, cold hard cash. Cash starts with a C and so does CDouch, so this is why I should be the next notable of SR.
Or maybe it's because I am a Playstation owner, who is not biased to any other machine. I dont post wave after wave of poinless, boring console wars topics, instead I visit other forums and discuss aspects of gaming that are not talked about in my 'home forums'. True, im not posting in FOG all that much, but I read the majourity of topics posted by others. But if you look in any of the other forums (mainly Music, Movies and Books) you will see I post quite often.
So I kind of consider the movie forum, my home forum. A while ago my 'home' would have been PS2. But reccently I have desided to expand my gaming experience by buying a Nintendo Gamecube. Monkeys in balls, I couldnt resist. I also have shocked myself over last few days when I started to consider buying the big black box which cant be moved without a fork lift, the Xbox. Anyway if you look in the movie forum you will see a lot of the notables spend time in there, proberly because it is the greatest forum in SR. The forum is also quite deserted at times, not as much so as the ghost town forum we call pokemon, but still. So maybe the more notables we have in there, the more JAT's, newbies and regulars will come acalling.
I dont mean to boast but I have won GAD a total of 14 times. Yes around 4 of them are for cheats, but hey someone has to win each day. But still I must be doing something right, and whatever that is, I try to share with others. In the past I have giving advice and helped people with reviews or posts. One of them was Tom who has now gone on to win a few GAD's for reviews. Well done for your latest win by the way.
When im older I would like to go into the magazine industry. Writing for a computer game magazine is something I have wanted to do for a long time. But I was never a very good writer. Then I found SR and was lured in by gameday, after I won my first game, I was hooked and stayed around, not for the bonus of th freebies but for great chat. From all the post, cheat and review writing I have done over by time at SR, my writing skills have dramaticly increased. If you compare my early work to what I can do now, you will see what I mean.
On this forum im known as the simpsons biggest fan, this may be true (I just love yellow people) but I dont want to be known as that. I want to be the notable who is the simpsons biggest fan.
If you are good enough to give this user your notable vote I will:
-Keep posting as much up to date info on gaming, movies, music and of course the simpsons as I possibly can.
-Continue to give advice and tips for winning GAD and compeeting with the big gus and gals of this forum.
-Be as fair to JATs and newbies as I can. After all we were all one, one day. If they are treated well with respect as a jat or newbie then they could grow into the great posted we need to make SR an even better place.
-Do my best to put an end to spam on the forums.
-and I will continue to be the same CDouch ive always been, just with a gold name.
So please vote for me, if you dont then vote for Stryke, but I would preffer you to vote for me. After all Stryke smells, you dont want to have a smelly notable, do you?
