As it seems, i am the only one here who is not at all bothered about todays relesed Gamecube. if you have been reading previous post you may have realised that i believe it to suck. and suck it does. i was a big fan of the N64, it brought us great games like Mario Kart and Lylat Wars, but so far this GC has offered nothing, no proposal of descent games, no promose of a better controller, and no explaination for making it purple.
If you agree with me you'll understand what i am saying, if not you'll be probably screaming abuse at my comments, but i am just getting my views across.
Today i played on a Gamecube for the first time, like many of you, i tried out, Wave Race Blue Storm and Luigi's Mansion, they sucked, the sucked big time, watching a plumber in a bogey coloured halloween costume trying to be a ghostbuster just didnt work for me. Ok i admit, the graphics are pretty cool, but its the gameplay that matters, wave race has amazing graphics but the game sucks because of its outrageous earge to let you lose and it loves it when you can control the damn thing, let alone realize where all 40,000 buttons are.
And whats with the handbag look, do they expect people to carry Gc's around like mobile phones! and the discs, people would like to see them!
So, ok, i am a bit biased against Gc's if you like it, fine that's your decision, but to me they SUCK.

Well, you are entited to your own opinions, and we're entitled to ours too!! ;D
And of course Mario Kart's coming to the GameCube, but not untill next year at the earliest! Shigsy has also been quoted as saying that this is basically THE game he wants to be no.1 on the GameCube, using up all his free time!!
And he also said that we can expect drastic changes and that Sonic could also be a surprise Karter! :O

Come one! There are loads of good games comming out (P.Dark, Zelda, SSBM)

Well I didn't buy Luigis Mansion because I heard it lasts 4 hours but Rogue Leader is good. Aren't you being a bit harsh, come on its not that bad, besides there was all this when PS2 and X-box were released so whats your problem with all the hype?
I think you should wait a bit before you completely disregard the Cube, and another thing: you won't find a cheaper console which means it won't go dow a hundred pounds in 2 months.
Still its your opinion and this is a democracy after all...
