A real shame, I enjoyed some of his shows and I hear he did a lot of charity work.

Apparently he died after a battle with pneumonia.

Jeremy gave us the answer to the riddle "what is the sound of one hand clapping?"

I guess he won't spring out of the coffin on his funeral day with a mircophone and pointing out to his family where all the hidden cameras were then.

Yeah, he was the guy you used to love to hate, but in a fun way.

I think that a lot of his stuff went uncredited, he did a lot of writing and putting shows together, so he was always there behind the scenes, but just not on TV.

He basically re-started the reserge in 'prank-tv' in the UK.

he`ll appear in the crowd at his funeral with a false beard and a microphone in his big hand.

"and remember! john, the vicar, is IN on the joke!!"
