In the Darwin awards the other year, some guy managed to kill himself by shaking a coke can vendor in an attempt to get a free coke, only for him to shake it too much, and have the vending machine fall on top of him.

Do you know how annoying it is when you get these things in for repair coz some pillocks shoulder barged it?? WELL?? DO YOU???? ahem. didn't think so.
I believe you're supposed to put money in before you can expect to get anything out of a vending machine. I suggest in future you carry around some loose change next time a vending machine "refuses" to co-operate.
