Before you think this is going to be some huge annoying post about realism, it's just an idea on how to improve Footballing games realism.

I don't really play many football games, so it might have been done, so tell me if it has.

If you've watched football live or on TV you'll know that round each player is four shadows because the lighting. To make games more realistic you could have them but instead of having suqares round them, you could just have the shadows of the 1p, 2p, 3p and 4p slightly coloured so you would know who you are. This would surely mean that football games would be a lot more realistic. I know not many of you think realism isn't that good, but it's just an idea.

The shadows don't have to be pink and yellow. I mean give them dark colours like brown and blue so you can just recognise your player. But there would be a problem in daylight, as you said. Unless Midnight Soccer/Football came out ;-D

Yeah, I spose that's a pretty good idea, and it would mean that games like ISS were slightly less 'Arcade-style' in their appearences.

But what about in the daylight, when floodlights aren't required????
There's only one sun you know, and it is the 4 or more floodlights of the stadium that creates that 4-way shadow effect.

And don't you also think that coloured shadows would make the game look even more un-realistic?? But it's an idea that could be played around with a bit.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
