I know some people might complain that this should be in the Internet forum on here, but this isn't about the Internet, so it's fine here, right? Plus, I'm more likely to get a response here than in the Internet forum, unless Eccles might know.

Anyway:

I've been trying to help someone set up an XBox 360 on their USB TV card so that they can record things from it,and have run out of ideas.

The 360 is connected by the S-Video port I think, using the composite adaptor. All appears to be working, except for the picture, which appears stripy, with alternating stripes displaying the correct colours, and the others not. See here.

Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem? Earlier, he didn't even have sound or colour, so I think we've gotten somewhere, but I've now run out of ideas.

The entire discussion is here. The reason I suggested that he get a USB TV receiver rather than a PCI or PCI-E one was because he didn't like the idea of opening up the computer.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
