Well I should have guessed really but I hadn't thought Macromedia would be bringing out Dreamweaver MX so soon :D just happened to notice it while looking at Homesites files...(this programs pretty much the same as 1st Page - not sure of the differences yet) anyway, did everyone else know about this already? and what do you think about it?
i'm looking forward to it because I can't use DW4 :(

Just this second installed Fireworks MX and the new layout is really something. It seems a lot easier to use that Fireworks 4 but the new logo is quite simply horrible. Apart from that, no complaints :D.

Ah fair point about the *coughs*
Shame Dreamweaver and Flash grew quite a lot in size but I guess it's all worth it :) not like it makes much different to broadband users though :D

Just done my first real bit of work in Fireworks (Making up a new layout for my site) and I have to say I really like it, its much easier and more friendly to use, the layout is ten times better, no more fiddly window things, just a kinda frames layout, looks good and is soo much easier to use.

Also installed Dreamweaver, first thing I noticed is that it's near enough doubled in file size!!! It's now a 63mb download!! However, its also much nicer and frendlier to use, and I'm assured by Tyla that it's also immensly more powerful.

As for *cough*ware, it wasnt long until Flash MX was *cough*ed, so I dont imagine it'll be too long until you can easily *cough* these either. I still have the old version of Fireworks installed without any problems, they run fine side by side.
