"Please Help - PS2 Headhunter"

Can anyone help me???

I'm at wits end with "Headhunter" on the PS2, great game but I got to the level where I am on the deck of the Queen of Hearst and Ramirez is shooting me with the big (HUGE) machine gun, it says I have to distract him but I dunno how and everything I try gets me killed!!!

How do I kill that son of a b****??

Replies would be gratefully received so I can start growing my hair again as I have pulled it all out!

use a decoy shell....so that his attention is drawn elsewhere...and then shoot the lights out using a pistol or something...
once there're all out just shoot him...but watch out for his grenades (if i remember correctly)....
headhunter is OK...but not that great...well that's what i thought

If it's the same as the Dreamcast version, then I think the way to do it is by destroying the light (use grenades if you have 'em) and then running up and shooting him, when he lobs a grenade at you, shoot it to make it hit him.

Haven't played it for a while, sorry if that's a bit vague.
