The worst thing was the first I heard about it was 9 hours before they went off air. No warning from ITV Digital before hand. They said the media was exaggereating and really a buyer was practically guaranteed. Was it? No. They were even trying to get new subscribers right up until the end.
It's completely messed up my TV viewing as I can no longer watch Sky One, Eurosport and all the other channels. I've calmed down a bit since I heard the news but I'm still angry.
Who else has been affected by this?
That ITV digibox is really going to get some hammerin; going to take out its good chip and use it for evil.
Was a bit worried by CDouch's comments that we'll all have to go with Sky, I'm not allowed any dishes on my building!!!!
They also have a tendancy to take some channels away, like telewest did with me. They took off MTV2 and replaced it with MTVhits. This is because to get MTV2 you had to pay an extra £10 a month for the supreme package. Digital tv providers can do thing like this sinse they are in control of what we watch with this new digital service. Needless to say, it peed me off quite a bit.
(laughing inside really)
sorry...
