Well, probably quite a few of you still care, all looking forward to your gamecubes in all of 2 days from now.
I don't care any more.
Why not?
Well, maybe it's because i'm still happy playing Tony Hawk's 2 and ISS 2000. Maybe it's because i'll not have all that much time for gaming anyway for the next couple of months.
Or maybe it's because i've just had enough. Enough being messed around by nintendo. Sure, they're great. Yeah, ninty are so innovative, original, briliant, loyal to 'us' as we are to them. Shigsy, say you love us. Please.

I've been put to the back of the list with the rest of europe. Okay, someone has to be last. But then they kept on stalling. Sure, they have.. issues to.. do stuff. So i kept on waiting. And after the price hype, the console came out towards the low end. Still, microsoft can show you had some more room to give in the price. But hey, that's all business. We don't hold that against you. And the uk retailers, they add their layer of fat to the price. Everyone wants their piece of me. They all just take every inch they can get, but that's all good, they're just in business.
Sure, and i'm looking out for number one as well. Still, they have my money already. And i've almost got the thing. If it does arrive for launch.
How am i looking out for number one?
No, i've just been hustled along with the line of sheep queueing to be fleeced.
But i want a gamecube? Don't i? Surely i need the newest peice of kit, the latest console with the graphics that'll look more like that other world, the real one.
Why was it again, why do i need it? Hey, i don't know, it was you guys telling me i needed it in the first place. Ninty, come on, remind me why i need this stuff you're selling me. Because you'll make it impossible for me to go one step further without buying, buying, buying? Hang on, that wasn't what you said before. Shigsy, what's happening to us?

Just writing because you've not been in touch for a couple of weeks now. Was it something i did? I've been thinking about you and i. I know we've had good times together, but there's been this friction between us lately. I feel like you're drifting away from me. I heard you've been seeing that Mario behind my back. I wouldn't mind if you were honest with me. Well, maybe that's not entirely true, but we don't talk any more, and when you do, we're surrounded by microphones. I hoped this could last forever, but i'm not sure whether we should see each other any more.
I was talking to Bill yesterday. He's a nice guy, but there's nothing going on, i hope you know that. We're just friends, when i talk to him, he listens.
Anyway, i've got to go now,there's a '90s night at the local club, we thought we'd go remember the old days, me and some of my friends. But i hope we can work this out, even if it's just to tie up the loose ends.
