The time has come, for all gamers to unite and take on the group of angry parents that refuse to let gamers do what they do best, play great games, IN PEACE! So listen up parents, because the gamers are fighting back!
Even back 4 years ago i remember my parents moaning on at me to "get off that playstation, its time for bed!", how annoying was it when you were on a role and you either couldn't save it or just wanted to do that last part of the game before you have to turn it off? If it wasn't for parents i bet half of us would actually get the games finished!
If they would only leave us alone for just another five minutes then we would happily turn it off and go out or whatever, but noooooo the parents always have to come storming in and pull the plug or give you a good clip round the ear if you don't!
Who said gaming wasn't a hobby?! PARENTS! How many of your parents said or say "Why don't you get a hobby!?" well if they bothered to look then they would realise that gaming is a hobby! I don't know why parents have a problem with it, its not as if they do loads more than watch TV all of the time, its basically the same thing!
I'll tell you what each letter of PARENTS means!
P-ersistant ("Turn it off now!")
A-ngry (They take it out on you and the games!)
R-bellious (They have been in the past!)
E-nvious (Of our gaming skills!)
N-osey (Can't we play in peace?!)
T-aunting (They just never let you play in PEACE)
S-tubbern (You just can't reason with them!)
Now, after years of practice, here are some tips of how to keep on playing!
- If you have parents that are likely to pull the plug on your gaming, then tape the Socket to the wall, then they spend about 10 minutes trying to unplug it, then you can sit there laughing at their expense!
-Lock your bedroom door! Mute the vloume so they think you are out!
-Just say your are going to bed, then as soon as you shut your door, turn it back on again! you'd be surprised how easily that works!
-If they try to turn it off say, that your sure your brother or sister needed picking up, if you havent got any, distract them by saying "have you got my stuff ready for tomorrow?" that shoulds stall them a bit!
- Or wait until they turn their back to you and hit them over the head with an Xbox pad, they won't wake up knowing what happened! (please be aware, i take no liablility for this!)
- Go into the specs of the console or pc and bore them to death! they will be so bored they will forget what they came in for!
