Yes you've probably guessed from that first sentance that something is seriously wrong with my cube launch plans, and why? Argos that's why. I pre ordered from them about a month ago (the main reason being they guaranteed a May 3rd pickup) and today well yesterday I noticed they hadn't dropped their prices so I went in and enquired about it and they said they probably won't be dropping their prices soon at all!
What? You gotta be kidding?
Question is now do I buy from somewhere else and loose my deposit, will I even be able to buy from somewhere else at such short notice or do I buy from Argos then take it back before the guarantee runs out and buy from somewhere else and ultimately not loose out.
Awnsers on a postcard to the usual address.
I think I'll go and cry now..
Everyone weep for me, then diss Argos a little. Alteratively tell me your sob stories about you not being able to get a cube and make me feel better :0)
Go on.

Dirty...
he he
Anyway, Argos came through and all was good at launch day, they had them in stock, had accessories and games (unlike most other shops around my area)
Well done Argos, I never doubted you for a second! (Ahem) :0)
Sorry for popping this but the forum collums should be sorted now

Same with my mate, he has an X-Box which he can't touch, no where near as hard as waiting for 'Cube mind

And coming is a painful for you?

It's not ordering it that's the problem. The problem is that when it arrives, it'll be locked away in a cupboard and if I even attempt to remove its packaging before my exams finish, my mum will smash it with a hammer! :-D

The Blockbusters by me are selling at £129.99
Anyway here's the latest..
I phoned up Argos and the woman said she has two prices for the Cube, one at £169.99 and the other at £129.99. Apparently they havn't decided what price to choose yet but SHOULD have decided by launch day.
So if they have lowered it then I shall simply buy it from them straight up with no problems, if not I shall buy it anyway then straight away return it and get all my money back and buy it from another shop.
I'm just hoping not everywhere will have completely sold out.
*crosses fingers
