The internet hype for this movie slipped by me, I thought Cloverfield was some US sports team so I always ignored it. Turns out it's a monster movie, one of my favourite kinds of movies. Though it shouldnt be shelved next to Jurrasic Park 3 and Godzilla (US) which both pretty much sucked.

This one has been getting lots of good reviews and it looks like the internet hype was justified. I think it's out on the beginning of February so is anyone going to see it?

yeah this film is supposed to be massive!!! But apparently a lot of the filming has been done with no anti shake, this gives the film a realistic effect but it's also making people in the cinema feel sick!!! Motion sickness apparently, how funny is that? LOL

This is out on Friday over here, probably off to see it a couple of days after that. I'm liking the fact that the monster has not been shown in any of the trailers, adds to me wanting to see this film.

Oh, and as a big fan of Lost I'm looking forward to see what J.J. Abrams can do with another project.

I'm told that all of the film is done with a camcorder, there's too many ups and downs to that for me to understand why they bothered in the end.

I was excited about seeing this film but I've lost so of the excitement when it was quoted as "Lost meets the Blair Witch Project".

I love Lost to bits, it's brilliant!

The problem is I absolutely hated The Blair Witch Project with a passion, it was pure rubbish.

So I’m really not sure about this now, and whether I want to sit in a cinema watching it?

Has anyone seen it yet? Any good?

It was adequate and it's certainly not your normal monster film. It really depends on whether you want a braindead smash-sh**-up film or something with a bit more intensity.
