But so does Smash Bros I think (and I don't even have to pay for it!)

I didn't think much of Smash Bros so I'll skip that, and I'd certainly have to play Monkey Ball before even thinking of buying it.
But yes, you must get one more game. And that game must be Rogue Leader. This is by far the best looking game on GC at the moment for me. I've got Monkey ball, Luigi, Sonic 2 and Tony Hawks 3 on order.
I suppose I could just get TOny Hawks on the PS2 but I just like the Gamecube controller better :D

Apparantly, there was a really high demand for Black GameCubes...
There were loads of purple ones left, but only about 3 Black ones.
I kinda like the Purple one... but Black will go with my TV, DVD, PS2 and shirt that's strewn across my desk.

I said to the manager, "This one's mine... can I just..."
"NO!" He said...
I can, and will wait, because I want to play it the same time as everyone else.... I've still only got 2 games coming at launch... do you think I should get another?
