Before i begin this is what you will need..

-Halo
-Xbox
- 1 Hub (internal OR external) - 10 OR 100 mbps
- 1 Ethernet cable , from xbox to Hub
- Cable modem (i use the NTL 512k service)

You will also need, Gamespy installed on your PC and Gamespy Tunnel Software, which are available from gamespy.com

As far as operating systems go i have not had any luck With Windows Millenium.
I am current using Windows 2000 pro (which works fine, and no setup was needed for me once the hub was in), also many people say Windows XP is also fine.

I've finally got it up and working today, and let me tell you if you have the kit or can afford it then your in for a blast. As long as you find a host that has a decent connection then you should have an almost or if not lag free game. I could have played it for hours, i was playing a team game with 8 other people and i havent had so much fun for ages, 3 of you get into a vehical and drive around blasting your enemey, you just can't beat it.

Another great thing is as many of you is that you can have 4 people on one console playing online at any one time, it seems this game has everything and its certainly top class in my eyes.

If you thought the single player/split screen modes were good, then you havent seen nothing yet!

Make that two questions. =P

Will a 5 Port 10/100Mbps work?

-----
Five+One RJ-45 ports
Complies with IEEE802.3 and IEEE802.3u
Supports NWay protocol
2M bytes Fast Buffer memory
-----

Thanks

Just one question.

Whats the difference between

Assembled RJ45 - CAT5 network cable 2Mtr. BLACK
and
Snagless RJ45 - CAT5 network cable 2Mtr. BLACK
?

Anyone know anything about whether the 2 NIC's in a PC will work? I mean NTL 512k broadband service though one NIC, and the other connecting PC to XBox. Will this work on XP? I have heard people have had a few problems with it so far.....
