I've been pondering this subject for a while, and I have finally managed to figure out what breakfast cereals different game characters would eat. Well, they've got to get their energy from somewhere.

Mario
Apparentlly, our boy Mazza has developed quite a thing for gold throughout his years of collecting all those coins. He's got a golden house, golden car and even a special golden dog (no, its not a golden retriever). Because of this, he just can't resist the lure of Golden Nuggets. Even though he knows they taste terrible he is known to devour an entire box in one sitting. Sources indicate that inbetween bowls, he can be heard saying 'Gotta eat 'em all!'.

Solid Snake
Snake needs all the energy he can get, as quickly as possible, so he goes for Shredded Wheat. The nutririon in those whole grains give him all that he needs to combat terrorists. He still can't manage three though, he insists that fighting Metal Gear is nothing compared to the agony of trying to force down that third one.

Samus
Samus's ressebmlence to the guy on the Ricicle's box is more than just a coincidence. Back before Samus was a computer game star, times were hard. She barely had enough money for food, so had to resort to selling her likeness to Kellogs, in exchange for a lifetime supply of breakfast cereal. They decided that her image would fit ricicles quite nicely, and the rest is history. However, Samus became tired with the constant hounding from the press and public and so decided to change her image, which led to her bursting onto the game scene.

Doom Guy
We all know that Doom Guy eats Demons from Hell for breakfast, so he has little need for cereal. However, he has been spotted indulging in some toast and marmalade on several occasions.

Sonic
Everyone's favourite spikey blue hedgehog doesn't have much time in the morning for breakfast. However, his dietary habits were transformed when Kellogs introduced thier Nutri-Grian bars. No longer would he fall pray to Dr. Robotniks evil schemes due to lack of nutrition. His particular favourite are the chocolate flavour ones, but he is still waiting for them to introduce mad scientist flavour for some reason.

Gordon Freeman
A slightly unorthadox choice this one. The cereal of choice for Gordon is Cheerios. 'If you arrange the different O's into an accurate model of monkey DNA' Gordon suggests, 'then you are able to open a portal to Xen, in order to kick some more alien butt.' These claims are as yet unfounded. and Gordon is still working on this theory.

Rayman
This one is quite tricky, as Rayman's lack of a neck makes it difficult to actually digest food properly. He tends to make himself a big bowl of porridge, and funnel it straight into where his neck should join his chest. He finds its a lot better than eating normally, and getting mushy food all over himself.

Guybrush Threepwood
Just to keep the memories of those monkeys fresh in his memory, Guybrush enjoys nothing more than settling down to a delicious bowl of Coco Pops each morning. Rumours suggest that he was instrumental in the Coco Pops Team's mammoth 11 goal comeback in the Jungle World Cup Final.

Donkey Kong
What else could satisfy the big D but a bowl of Bananabix, with a dab of ice cold coconut milk? Nothing of course. DK is actually the number one supplier of bananas to the Weetabix company, providing them with approximately 50 tonnes every single week.

Shadow Man
Micheal LeRoi loves nothing more than a tasty bowl of human sou.... I... er.. mean Rice Crispies. 'If you listen long enough, the snaps, crackles and pops turn into blood curdling screams and cacophanies of death, doom and destruction.' Fascinating.
