Its got one of those old aerial connections.
And whats this about the 60hz picture or something?
What special features do I need to buy or does my TV need to play GC games?
P.S I know I got to fork out £15 on an old aerial adapter thing.
Will that onld N64 unit that you stick into the back of the 64 work. Or will I have to fork out £15?
The TV has NO scart, (the other TV does but I can't use that one) and it won't be able to support 60hz because it is too old.
But a big TV is a big TV!
P.S Im not gonna buy a new TV!
Although compared to SCART and S video it is worse, it's not "poor".
Anyway, in response to the original question....
The cube will work on any TV by plugging into the normal arriel (sic) socket. What's better is if your TV has a SCART socket on the back- it looks kinda like the thing a printer's parallel cable plugs into.
Now, GCs will also support the superior 60Hz screen mode. To use this, you will need a TV that has 60Hz support- look in the manual to see if it can pick up NTSC or "PAL 60" signals.
If it can't it just means you can't use the 60Hz option...

But i used my n64 with an rf adaptor , until i found out i could play it with a scart lead , and too be honest i could have managed without. But on GC the picture is definatley better with scart or even s-video.
The 60hz thing is the speed that the gamecube should show games at , like it's american and jap counterparts , all other european consoles normally run slower because our tv's arent as good , but now the 60hz thing means we can view the GC games as they were intended to be played like.
