Over the years Nintendo has brought us a wide array of games, from Mario Kart to Donkey Kong To Goldeneye etc.

Mmmmm its hard to say the best ever, the reason being I like different games in different ways. For example how can I compair a racing game to say Zelda. They have different enjoyment factors. But if I had to choose one, I think I would go for the first Zelda game. The reason being is, its still great/challenging and has great gameplay and also revolutionised gaming and really brough home gaming to the masses!
