What are you using to access the internet? Another windows xp pc? If it has the all important NTLDR file on make a copy and put it on a floppy noteing where it was on this pc and put it back into the same directory on your problem pc. Its obvious your pc is crashing or corrupting the hard drive somehow so make sure you run scandisk fully and then defrag. In future make sure you are powering down the computer properly and not running any software which could corrupt the hard drive somehow.
To fix your really irritating problem simply install a PROPER operating system.
Such as Linux or Windows 2000.
