Here are 64 reasons to buy a GameCube. Not all 64 reasons may be suited to you, but they're suited to me :) I used 64 reasons as a mark of respect to Nintendo's last console. The N64 is dead, long live the GameCube!
1. Brilliant graphical potential.
2. Controller designed by Shigeru Miyamoto.
3. Luigi's Mansion.
4. Brand new 'The Legend of Zelda' game.
5. Super Monkey Ball.
6. Re-release of 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time'.
7. Launch price brilliant!
8. Reduced launch price even better!
9. Plenty of third party support.
10. Star Wars: Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2.
11. Relatively cheaper games than the X-box.
12. Brilliant sound quality potential.
13. 8cm discs.
14. Super Smash Bros Melee.
15. 56k Modem slot.
16. Broadband Modem slot.
17. Extra expansion port giving the potential for many more innovations in the future.
18. Mario Sunshine.
19. Choice of two colours.
20. Brilliant games!
21. Less of that kiddie image.
22. Rareware still making games for Nintendo.
23. StarFox Adventures
24. Final Fantasy
25. Connectivity to the Game Boy Advance
26. Phantasy Star
27. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
28. Sonic and Mario are both on the same format.
29. Yuji Naka likes GameCube.
30. Electronic Arts like the easiness of being able to port games from Playstation 2 to GameCube.
31. I like Nintendo.
32. I like Sega.
33. Super Mario Sunshine.
34. I don't like the Playstation 2.
35. I don't like the X-box.
36. Resident Evil
37. Very few loading times.
38. New DVD-style game cases.
39. Crazy Taxi.
40. It's got a handle for ease of movement from one TV to another.
41. Room next to my Dreamcast for it.

43. There's already one crap game, Universal Studios, so hopefully developers will learn about it and improve.
44. The GameCube has meant a redesign of Nintendo Official Magazine which means it's more grown up and less aimed for the younger age.
45. NGC magazine give detailed news, reviews and previews as well as kick-ass posters of GameCube games.
46. Burnout.
47. Future Pokémon game.
48. There are still another 18 reasons :)
49. Potential to download music tracks to use for Panasonic devices through the Panasonic Digicard.
50. I liked the GameCube advert.
51. I liked Luigi's Mansion when I played it in a shop.
52. The controller is the most comfortable yet (though far from perfection).
53. Perfect Dark sequel promised by Rare.
54. Donkey Kong Racing.
55. Mario Kart.
56. Don't have to fork out extra cash for DVD capabilities despite having two DVD players in the house already.
57. Don't have to worry about copied games, according to Nintendo, because of their disc format.
58. Wireless Wavebird FM controllers.
59. GameCube means many more hours sat on my backside enjoying myself.
60. 4 controller ports for brilliant multiplayer modes.
61. Extreme G 3
62. Easier to carry home than N64 was due to it's weight :)

I originally wanted to do 128 reasons...and got stuck at around 50....hence the title I forgot to change...
some of these reasons ( thogh 64 reasons must be hard to compile) are a little fanboy like. resievil fan is a bit of a jerk.
the GC is actually as heavy , if not heavier than the N64 , well atleast it feels heavier (more stuff inside you see ;-)
