In a PS2 mag they say :-
" ... and news on what Rare - the makers of Perfect Dark - have planned for Sony's console ... "
hmmm.... interesting!
This years E3 is just gonna be full of surprises!
:)
Also, if Rare were looking to go muliformat, they would have been looking to employ people with PS2 development experience, and I've seen nothing to suggest that anywhere yet.
It might happen in the future, but PS2 owners shouldn't hold their breath, Rare are hardly the speediest developers out there!
:)
p.s. DOH!

Any the guy from Microsoft having meetings with em!

Not sure how i'd feel if it happened though...

What about Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, all those Disney platformer games?
I think Rare's platformer games would fit right in, and then receive FAAARRR better review marks than any other platform game on the PS, because all of Rare's are faaaarr superior!
:)
Games like Conker and Banjo Kazooie would stil be seen as 'too kiddy' for all Sony's and MS fans, and they'd only really appreciate the likes of Perfect Dark and the 007 games.
That's another thing, if they do go multiformat, then they may for one reason or another have a better chance of getting the full Bond license from EA/Eurocom due to their impressive works of the likes of GoldenEye on the PS2 and X-box.
So it could be good, but as a big Ninty and now Rare fan, I still feel that it's just not right. :(
