okay... I appreciate that most (all?) of you don't care about this... but I'm gonna write it anyway.
Myself and a friend agreed to a 'best of three' table football doubles competition. Each member of the losing team has to wear a thong to the next formal dinner.
Best of three games. We've had twelve pints between us, out opposition has had four.
First game. Lost ten-one. We sucked. Oh dear. We can't win from here....
Second game, we imporved - nine seven down, yet we score three on the trot to avoid thongification! We take the second game.
Third game. The decider. Half the hall is gathered around the table, watching to see which team will be in thongs. After a closely fought game, we go nine six up, an then win ten - seven! Possibly one of the happiest moments of my life!
