I can make gd sites with graphics and so on, but i really need to learn a programming language for the web! What do you all reccomend i learn?

Also what do i need to learn, software? and where can i find tutorials?

http://quanta.sourceforge.net - Great text editor, has PHP syntax highlighting (Linux only I think).

http://www.evrsoft.com - 1st Page 2000, similar to Quanta but without PHP highlighting. All the development team on FP3 appear to have died, so don't bother waiting.

Yes, PHP does it for me too. www.phpbuilder.com has some useful forums if you're new, but as for tutorials, you'll probably need to search google or some such.

PHP is generally well liked here, its quite easy to learn, very powerful, and above all, free.
