Money Grabbing Konami is all i have to say.
Why?
Well its a bit obvious to me when they plan on releasing two football games that are different in the same year, and then have the nerve to call them ISS 2 and Pro Evo 2.
Before changing to Pro Evo, the main series on PS1 was ISS Evo and maybe not everyone knows about the change that has happened on the PS2 platform, hell i know some people who think that ISS on PS2 is the sequel to the Evo series on PS1.
Konami know what there doing surely, they must know that some people would get confused and will end up buying ISS 2 expecting it the be the follow up from Pro Evo. But then i guess thats what they want, ISS and Pro Evo are totally different games that are combined by the same name structure.
I really like Konami as a developer and always had the up most repsect for them, but this is really out of order in my opinion.
Now im not saying this because i think ISS 2 is crap, its not a bad game from what ive seen, it has it moments i guess, but still Pro Evo over shadows it. ISS is more of an Arcade game and Pro Evo is the simulation version, so because of this, could they not have changed the name of ISS to something a little more different? Its a different game so why not have it as a different series with a unique name?
It appears not, as they know its going to sell by confusing people anyway.
So a word of warning to some of you people who aint sure:
ISS 2 is not the sequel to Pro Evo.

What i meant there was, "i am not saying all of this because i think it is crap, i dont think it is crap,it is a decent game from what i have seen."
I have seen videos of the game, read reviews and many of them, its in my interest to see what the game is like, i dont want to miss a classic, for me this game isnt one.
But this is going way off my point in the topic, i think that Konami are doing this on purpose, to confuse the mass market and make money.

True, but think about it, if many people buy this gaming expecting it to be Pro Evo 2 and then finding out its not, then they are going to buy Pro Evo 2 when it comes out later in the year, Konami know this, its all part of a nasty way of making money me thinks, like Fifa, only different.

Thats fine, i know people prefer ISS to Pro Evo, but what gets me is that they make little effort to actually split the two apart as there names are so much similar.
good post Pro, i do play on ISS alot and i prefer it more then Pro Evo (bit biased as i aint played Pro Evo) but i dont think it would be my type of game, with the simulation side of it i prefer the more arcady feel.
