Ok you all now know that the Gamecubes price has been dropped as well as X-Box's and the PS2 is already at a good price. And i dont think that these are the last price drops we will see. Lets face it how unusual is it for a console to drop its price by £100 after its only been released just over a month? VERY Unusual, Then we have Nintendo dropping the GC's price before its even been released here in the UK! Amazing.
Across every gaming forum on the net there have been arguments over which console is the best. It really does look like the Console producers really want to show the UK that they are the best, and it seems they will take huge risks, such as dropping prices to prove this.
You may have noticed that amongst the consoles Sony are the only ones that havent droppped their price recently, does this mean that they are more confident that they will win the battle of the consoles? That may be the case, and are X-box and GC only being dropped so they can compete?
Who cares what the reasons are, because this is great! We now have the 3 best consoles ever released or due to be released and they are all desperate to take top spot and will do anything to get there! This means the prices of games may drop on all of the platforms.
Well i gotta go now coz i gotta decide which console to buy next! WOOOOOOOOOOO

yeh £130 is cheap for a console. Buy three games or a new console? they will both cost the same price
Hmmm...I've just had a thought. Could the fact that the PlayStation2 was the first *Revolutionary* console to hit the market have affected it's mass sales at the £300 mark or was the PlayStation's success to blame?

With the huge amount of Ninty's roaming this earth, the GameCube is bound to sell heaps. It was destined to sell even at the £200 mark, but now it's even more destined to sell at £130. Smart move by Nintendo.
