And what has Liam Gallacher done to his hair?!
I feel that the rise to popularity of Pulp was certainly one of the best things to come out of the mid-nineties, and that Jarvis Cocker has crafted some of the finest songs that I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.
Pulp accurately captured the mood of the time with Different Class, and it'a an album that I never get sick of. Jarvis IS Pulp. He represents the underdog, and being yourself, and not caring what others think.
And We Love Life was the best album I bought last year.
It's a shame it wasn't more successful, there are some fantastic songs on there.
He looks constantly drunk and stumbles across the stage.
Shut up
Hmmmmm......must have hit pretty close to the spot there with Sheepy reacting like that. He must be in denial. Jarvis is probably his dad. :-D
And yes, I did just watch Top of the Pops. I wanted to see Oasis, but I also got to see Pay as you Go. What a fantastic song. Or rather, what a completely dismal song sung by completely retarded people. "Yo, I'm gonna wear whatever I like and people will still think I'm cool." "Good idea. I think I'll wear a big fur jacket with nothing underneath." "Yeah, and I'll wear a suit with a stupid little leather hat."
That Doves song was pretty good though.
