Today a woman came up to me and said she had been charged too much for her washing powder.
The following conversation took place
Woman: Excuse me sir I've been charged too much this washing powder is buy one get one free.
Decoy: I think it's the smaller size, I'll just go check.
Woman: What! are you saying I'm wrong?
Decoy: I'll just go and check
Decoy: yes it is the smaller size thats on offer if you see the supervisor she will sort you out.
Woman: (Grumpily) Ok then I will but I don't like your attitude
(she goes)
The customer always right? Methinks not

When I did my mandatory stint at a faceless chain store, I had a customer complaining about an item that had recently gone UP in price, but had been put on Manager's special and came DOWN to the previous price. The bloke had bought one at the original price when it wasn't on offer and was understandably annoyed. So what did my manager do when the bloke started raising his voice? He took the sign down! Genius!
It bugs me when they buy something thats on offer and they pick something that *Isn't* in the offer yet they carry on believing they are right even though the signs say "selected titles only"AND "Stickered goods only"
