Why in Project Gothum do the cars allways speed up in the last lap in 'very hard' my son was comming first every time and just at the last section the other cars sped past him any tips for us please

Yea but when he does he is all over the road 9from side to side and just as he is coming to the last corner or the finish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM there they go and he just leaps up from his chair and a few curses then restarts again and tries all over again
