They don't work...if I'm lucky I get to pick up some static.
Why!?
This is a brand new PC...I need SOUND!
Anyone help me here!?
> get some new ones
Silence!
Heh, I just tranfered my old computer speakers and they work fine!
Stupid Tiny....
;0)
One of my speakers just went dead one day for no reason, nothing wrong with our sound card since the other speaker was working fine. So my dad sent the dodgy speaker back to parkard bell, and after a few weeks they sent a replacement.
Now we got the new speakers and replaced the old ones. They where fine for a couple of weeks, until to my amazment, one of them went dead too. I and my dad was mighty peed off at this and had to get a second replacement to finally fix this problem. Luckily these speakers didn't botch up like the last ones.
Such a sad story. Anyway I have a new computer now and everything works fine, but I have finally decided to invest in a 3D surrond sound speaker system for my Computer. Its going to be great playing through games like MOH:AA and MP, I can't wait.
My advise to you Protoss is if you find that the problem is wrong with your speakers and not your sound card, then send the fualty speakers back to the manufactures. Or invest in a speaker system like I am doing, If you haven't already.
> I thought you meant Tiny speakers as in size when I first read it.
Thats what I thought, you can get nw speakers pretty cheap, around £6 brand new, but if you want good quality ones you'll want to spend £30+ if you've got static, i'm not really sure what the problem is, probably because the speakers arn't connected properly at the soundcard as said before or the wires on the actual speakers are dodgy, i'm not sure.
have fun :) just remeber never to buy from Tiny again.
Also could you post the specs and price of what your pc cost please, i'd be intrested to see what they charged you :) thanks.
After a few months, the integrated sound chip on my AOpen mobo started to play up more and more so, finally just giving the odd spurt of static out. My solution? Well, I tried another set of speakers on it first, just to check it wasn't a speaker problem. With no difference, I concluded that there was something wrong with the sound system. So, I bought a Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum and never looked back! :D. Ofcourse, if you haven't got £180-odd to spare...
I wanna play Max Payne and I need sound owww....
I had that static sound in my old speakers, happened because I played my music to loud for the speakers and since then it kept making that sound whenever it was up high. Annoying.
As the poster before me said...it could be the wires but it is most likely the problem I had above. If it is really annoying you get a new set of speakers, thats all I can advise on. They are all pretty cheap, depends what you are after. You never know, you could get some even better speakers then those Tiny ones for a small price.
Take a look around as your last resort.
