Just over a week now, and we'll be in May.

May should be a great month, for a number of reasons, namely holidays, football and games.

Firstly, the 3rd see the launch of the Gamecube. Plenty of people will give you comment on this on these forums, so I won't go into it in detail. Basically, I hope to get one for launch day, and am looking forward to playing the games.

10 days later, on the 13th I'm going away for a few days. We (that's me the wife and the lil' kids) are off to Great Yarmouth for a few days. Hopefully the weather will be nice, but if it isn't we'll still ahve fun. We'll definitely go back to Suffolk Wildlife Park, which is nearby, because they have a rhino or two. Zoo's rule.

Also during the first two weeks of May, the domestic football season comes to a close. This year the title race is closer than ever, and looks like it may go all the way to the last day of the season, we've got the FA Cup Final to watch, which I never miss. I'll be cheering on Arsenal for a second consecutive year, which is really odd for a Man Utd fan. Hopefully the Champion's League final will also be worth watching.

Then, the last day of May see's the start of the World Cup. I love these major football tournaments, and always have a laugh at the wacky opening ceremonies. Willthe Japanese and Koreans be able to top the lunacy of the French, with strange men on stilts? I hope so, I really do.

So there you go, May should rule. Could well be the best month of the year.

Which month are you most looking forward to this year?
