I was just wiondering if you were paying any attention at all to the PS2 prices, they are crazy, i'm not yet sure about the prices for the G-Cube and X-box, as my freinds and some sites have different ideas, but I have seen lots of great offers on PS2 systems recently and wanted to know what you thought.
My local PC world store is selling 4 top games a DVD film(Matrix-Boring) and a controller, memory cards come with the games, for a stonking price of £500!! I don't know what you think but thats great, alot at first and usually I would not egt loads of games at the same time, I like to complete one game at a time, but it sounds great, Console=£300, games(each)around £50, DVD film=£20, an each sold seperatly total of =£520!? hhmm, so buyingit one fouls woop gives you one of the biggest savings you'll ever see with the PS2.

Have you seen any offers like this? i'm having a competition to see who saves the most. But it has to be the most expensive offer availiable from that store, please reply. I am very sorry to all you people that think this should be in the PS2 forum, but it's boring in there.

£500 is alot of money, I get what you say, thats the most writting I have ever seen from you! amazing.
It's a shame tht so many people are buying it now, I will probably buy one next christmas if there are good games for it, it will be just over half price and games will be in my second hand basket, lots of deals, never know, might even win another game from SR and select a PS2 game. Cheers for the Matrix thing, but I could go on for ages explaining things that have been missed out, my mates and I were very drunk one night so we wrote everything down, and found out lots of things, very boring and our heads were in pain after so much concentration. I think we should have played games instead, just rented out V-Rally99, and it's great, trust Blockbusters to keep a couple of old games for me.

(Back now.)

Where the hell did you go? I'm feeling really sick.

(I went to see a man about a dog.)

How the... oh God, just do the typing ok?

(Right, where are we? Sony ripping off customers? Is that so...)

(Face facts. There is not a amazing line up of games for Christmas for Playstation 2. Not as amazing as what everyone was hoping for anyway. There are a few really excellent games, but I am absoultly sure that everyone is buying the system for games that aren't even out yet. In America, Final Fantasy X is the most anticipated game. Metal Gear Solid 2 over here.)

(The thing is though, if you wait until the PS2 actually has a really decent line up of games, I.E. Dreamcast now, the console will be cheaper, the games will be cheaper.)

(Many developers are waiting til about mid next year anway to release, or start work, on games, because then they will appeal to a larger audience.)

(So, why are people buying it now?)

(If you know me, you know I am someone who speaks his mind.)

(The reason people are buying it now is because they are braindead fools, incapable of the ancient skill known as "patience". People will pay £500 just because they "can't be bothered" to wait!)

(Search your feelings, PS2 buyers, you KNOW it to be true.)

(Oh yeah, another stupid little quirk in The Matrix is that Neo is an anagram of "one".)

Not quite the point of the topic, but while you talk about it, I think it's crap because I have seen it like 20 times, and it has lost it's interesting points, but I have som elittle things pop up here and there which make me watch it again, like when he visits the guru woman and she tels him he is not the 'one', and then she says he's waiting for a new life, near the end he gets killed by the agent and brought back to life by the woman, hhmm, her name was forgotten, oh well I even looked on the cover and it wasn't there, anyway, she brings him back to life and he kicks aris, he is then 'the one'. Little things like that, that even though I missed them the first 10 times around I still liked and half-understood the film. Sorry to hear about your absent brain grix_Thraves.

Ever since I started to write my own book, I realised that the Matrix is that good, after all. Ah well...
