Apparently it would seem that next generation console online gaming is just around the corner and i for one cant wait. Ok so there'll be the hassle of service providers, broadband connections and perhaps even other monthly charges...
But what would be the ultimate online gaming experience...?
Immediate games that come to mind include Tony Hawks 3, Halo (obviously!) and driving games. However, i believe many other games could provide fantastic online gaming.
For me, the ultimate online game would be GTA3. Imagine working for the Mafia, whilst other players from around the world work for other crime syndicates such as the triads and the yakuza. Online gamers could also play as the crime bosses or even just aimlessly explore the city, causing havoc. (as we all love to do in GTA3) The pure freedom of GTA3 is what would make it such a fantastic multiplayer online game.
Maybe this time next year....
