This morning we have seen many topics on the proces of the next gen console. Many of these by goatboy(which i thank for informing us and putting a comical twist into them)saying about the prices of the GC and X-box.

Firstly does it really matter if the x-box sells more than the GC. I'm going to be quite happy as long as i have a GC in my bedroom. As long as you get what you want then i can't see the problem.

I have a selection of consoles to name them PS2, DC, N64, mega drive and soon a GC. I don't just stick with the one brand because you don't expierence the varity of games that the companies have to offer.

So at the end of the day, if the GC out sells the X-box or the other way round it's doesn't matter as long as you get the console you like then that will always be the best to you. Also if you get upset by this then you are perhaps taking it a bit to seriously. I'll be a happy bunny if i get my gamecube and maybe one day i will buy at x-box.

Thank you for reading.

I agree there, i had an N64 but still decided to get a Playstation and was glad i did. Games like the Resident Evil series, MGS, Final Fantasy 7 & 8 were great. If i'd have not got my PSOne, i would have missed out on all those great gaming experiences.
But Xbox on the other hand: it doesn't look like i'm missing much with that at the moment, and i wouldn't want to buy the successor to the Dreamcast just yet;)

The "I'll get what I like best, and it doesn't matter how well it sells" is all very well, and granted you may well be happy with that console in your bedroom.

This is, won't you want some games too?

Because if few other people share your taste in consoles, then a few months down the line you could find yourself a little lacking in choice there...
