This is a spoiler for Pokemon Gold/Silver so if you don't want to know please don't read on.

I have just found out that the ending for Pokemon Gold/Silver is that you are able to play complete Red/Blue/Yellow Pokemon games, and switch back and forth between them, you can collect 8 new badges and it is a lot harder and you have a final batlle with... taht is as much as the website said but I would guess at Ash, this is a brilliant idea a great reward for finishing the game.

I feel that endings for games have been extremely dissapointing in some cases Final Fantasy 7 being the biggest dissapointement. The Programmers at Nintendo should be rewarded on what is a fantastic touch to a game. I know that the ending isn't vitally important but after playing a game it is nice to have a decent ending. SOmetimes after so much effort it is so gutting to be rewarded with nothing special. Nintendo I feel always place a lot of emphasis on endings the Zelda games have great endings, I haven't finished OoT yet as I have only played it for a couple of hours as I have just got it. Hopefully in future we will see games be more rewarding when great acomplishments are made. Goldenye and Perfect Dark had great ideas with bonus weapons etc, but now Pokemon Gold/Silver have perhaps one of the best ever. Keep up the good work Nintendo with your great endings and lets hope the others learn something from them.
