Is it not a blessing that game developers finally realised how crap an idea they were?
An actor can be so good that he makes a film better just by being in it, but the same cannot be said of games, since ultimately, the gamer is only interested in what he/she/it can be doing. If they wanted to watch a movie, they would spend £6 in the cinema, or £12.99 for a video, but not £25-30 for a game.
