He's a quick, strong and pacey player who can hold the ball off of the defenders and cause real problems in the opposition's defence.
He's got a powerfull shot - usefull for close and long range - and has also been quite prollific over the years.
He's also very confident on the ball, which is good as he won't hide away from showing his true abillities!
So when he's not falling over he's actually a top-class player who can do a lot for his country. And due to his veritallity, he can also play out wide left as well as in the attack, and could challenge the likes of Barmby, Joe Cole and Trevor Sinclair for that left wing role - leaving Fowler and Owen to do the magic upfront!

I would not go that far!
Heskey may be a donkey sometimes but he is the perfect partner for Owen that England have.
This has been shown in the Germany game and games after this.
