Firstly, I dont understand why this game scores so high in so many reviews because it can hardly even be called a RPG.
Basicly you start, you pick your class, Barbarian,Amazon,Sorceress,Paladin,Necromancer, the story is fairly basic. The prime evils that used to be locked up have now been unlocked yady yada yada, which means theres hordes of skeletons and monsters roaming the place anoying the locals.
The game consists of four acts, each act countains a big map, and you start in the camp which is safe, in the camp you talk to someone who then gives you a quest (Either kill, save a person, find an object) then you go off hacking and slashing to do your quest, do all the quests in a act then you travel to the next act, sounds simple huh?
Well, as long as you level up and get fitted with good weps/armor throuout the game then every minion you encounter will be a one hit kill. Picture this, a screen fills with Devilins, that all look and act the same, you kill them all in one hit each, then this same process carrys one over and over and over again. Kill kill kill *yawn*. Its repitive and boring. Well, all the monsters in every act look the same apart from different colour shading and different names. The only problems you will have in this game is killing the bosses. The Only rpg element about the game is the fact you level up, gain experience and spend skill points. Its just a hack and slash arcade game with weak rpg elements..
5/10 Will keep you amused for half hour.
