The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
It's obvious that with all of the new consoles coming out hardly any of them use cartridges-even the Gamecube-a descendant from the N64 which did use cartridges-and have all now moved to discs. This is probably becuase you can access information quicker. But this doesn't matter anyway but what really gets to me is that if you have two consoles, or your mate has one and you have the other, you want to share your games but you can't?
I know that they are always trying to squeeze an extra pound here and there out of us gullable gamers and I know that it's supposed to be a vicous world of buisness and all that, but for once couldn't they just do something for the people that have actually made them worth billions and billions of £'s/$'s and have a disc that's compatible with all of the consoles seeing as they all use discs (well, all the new ones and PS's anyway).
Mind you, knowing them, this is probably a thing they would never even dream of...
