Violence is always a talking point weather it is video games or films or music idols that are an influrence to us. I personaly think that violence is in our blood and everyone loves to see somekind violence now and again. People try to stop violence being seen by younger viewers but they will still manage to see it one way or another. That brings me to my next point about how young kids swear, is this being copied by something they have seen in a game or is it the innocent parents that have taught them these words.
Parents try to stop their kids from playing on games like gta3 and state of emergency but do kids not learn mainly from their parents then from computer games and films. Age restrictions in gameing are much to strict for example GTA3, yeah it has fighting and the odd bit of swearing but do kids learn any new form of violence whilst playing a game. You probably see worse violence in the school playgrounds with fights going on reguarly.
I think state of emergency was spoiled slighty by the way they have created a more annimated game rather than real life and I think they done this because they feared that the game was going to be to violent for public sales, but the same pricible is still there for all to see even if it is annimated because they are still kicking the crap out of people.
I don't think that any person goes and steals a car because they are thinking "I want to be like Grand theft Auto and steal things" because people know that if they tried it they would be arrested.
So are violent games to give us a feel of what it is like to steal a car of kick someones head in or shoot someone because for most of us we will never do it in real life
