'Today LucasArts reentered an agreement to resume its former relationship with Totally Games, a developer which brought gamers best-selling titles X-Wing Alliance, TIE Fighter, and Bridge Commander. Headed up by Lawrence Holland, Totally Games will draw fuel from its past efforts on Luftwaffe Commander and Their Finest Hour: Battle of Britain to bring an all-new World War II flight combat title to next-generation consoles and PC'
It may not be the next X-Wing Allience, but its definitely a start?

Didnt they do a minor overhaul (graphics, sound, etc..) on Tie-Fighter and X-Wing at one point (maybe when they released them as a double pack???) ... I could very easily be wrong here :)
