Does anyone else think there is a lack of advertising for the GameCube. Nintendo promised to spend millions on it and I have hardly seen any of it. Am I just somehow not seeing it or isn't it there?
I don't know if a certain amount of advertising really changes aything, but the gamers' views do matter!
If it was all down to the success of the previous consoles then Sony would be leading the way, followed by Nintendo, leaving Microsoft having only PC gamers to rely on - who may not really be into console gaming.
So something has to be done to grab attention, but big games may not neccesarily do things. GTA 3, Halo and Luigi's Mansion (maybe?) - how would a gamer choose just one!???
So adverts supposidly do have an effect on descisions.

1) That defies having a TV add if you have to go online ;)
2) Ninty consoles have always sold more on product placement and word of mouth. So things like Pokemon cards/cartoon will boost things

I havent seen the advert on TV but saw it online, its pretty good. Go to the GC Europe site and follow the links to see it.
I haven't see the advert yet, altough, I will get round to downloading at at somestage. Everyone else says that it is amazing, well, most people.
