My favourite song by her is Sinnerman, by far. Fantastic jazzy riff, this excellent bit in the middle that's just clapping and piano, and it's just cool and superb.
Downloaded another song last night, called Here Comes the Sun, and it's also brilliant. Her voice seems a little off in it, but it only adds to the beauty. It picked me up real good after doing ten or so hours of solid coursework.
That's my recommendation for today.
But still, the whole post was a lie anyway so it doesn't matter. No, really, I was joking. I don't actually like big hairy, deep-voiced women. I don't! Jesus, what have I got myself into?
No Grix, I don't want to meet your sister! :-D
(I apologise for any offence this may cause to people with hairy sisters) :-D
:0)
You sure that's a woman? The song at the end of Thomas Crown Affair (which I watched last night actually)?
That sounds A LOT like a man. That's the same person who starts to sing when he steals the painting in the first place too? The music starts and then as he gets in the taxi, a voice says "Oh yeah, oh yeah!".
Sorry but that IS a man! John McTiernan constantly goes on about the music in the commentary I remember, so I'll have a listen. But I'm certain that is a man!
