- A powerful graphics processor that does exactly what you tell it to do with no hidden surprises and has built-in effects meaning less programming for developers.
- A Sound chip that can take AT LEAST 64 music inputs.
- Cheap dev kits readily available to any developers.
- Easily code-able games.
- Should support digital audio and video options. Dolby Pro Logic 5.1 or II is a good idea.
- 60Hz PAL should be available.
- Have room for upgrades and expansion.
- Able to go online.
- Have abilities for four-player action
CONTROLLER
- Two analogue sticks and at least four clustered action buttons.
- Some form of analogue support on action buttons.
- Rumble feedback.
- Digital support.
- An ergonomically pleasing design that is comfortable to use over any time.
- Lovely for biguns an’ littluns.
MEDIUM
- Easy and compact to store and locate.
- Resistant to damage.
- Have capabilities to have data extracted quickly.
- Economic to produce.
- Be able to hold all types of media.
AESTHETICS
- Good to look at in a range of colours.
- A practical shape.
- As small as possible.
- Must be appealing to all target audiences.
- Cheap to buy, maintain and run.
SOFTWARE
- Fun and enjoyable.
- Replay value.
- Cheap.
- Appealing to all target audiences.
- Varied.
- Multiplayer support.
- Online support…
