It's interesting that a games forum is either too emotionally crippling (like Life, Universe and Everything topic) to bear or that it’s full of buffoons writing topics which are boring, useless drivel (no, not like me!).
I came on here to discuss topics and events with a bit of fun (SR quote ‘lively chat and discussion forums) but the forums are very depressing. A lot of the topics by the best people usually go on about 'the human race is pathetic'. What!? I didn't come here to read this.
Let me also dispel some low quality, budget answers:
1) shut up protoss, u don't have to come to these forums you know
2) your blatant dig at the forums won't get you respect
3) you r so banned
(ok, maybe everyone doesn’t talk in txt talk but you catch my drift)
All I'm saying is let’s lighten up a bit people. Some of this content is too much on a weekday evening.

The whole point of this forum is to right about anything that is in your guts at the time - some of the topics are depressing and some are really uplifting and funny.
If you dont like the subject matter in this one then dont come to it. There are plenty of other topics to look at.

I don't always write depressing topics. Sometimes I need to get stuff off my chest, and here is the best place for it.
Trust me, we have a lot of fun on here. Otherwise there'd be no point coming.

I think the forums are great and I enjoy being here.
Sorry, but I left Chat because everyone wanted everyone to feel the same way they did by telling them to, instead of inspiring them to by writing topics.
I don't want people to be depressed, that's not why I write depressing topics. I write them because that's what I need to write.

Well its only this topic which is as you put it "Depressing" (I dont think it is, I find it intresting) but all the other forums are filled with stupid and some times witty topics.
