Allow me to give a few examples...
Metal Gear Solid 2 has been called the game of the year by some. But what kind of image is it premoting? As the centre, you have Raiden- a blonde rubber-wearing child-like character who clearly needs some sexual identity. Either side of him you have Ottacon and Solid. Not only do these too seem to spend WAY too much time together (over 2 years), but Otacon seems to have an incestuous lust for his (underage) sister, while Snake is "unequiped" in the child-making area.
Even gamings most loved characters have changed. Poor old Sonic, once the coolest hedgehog in town, seems to completely shy away from foxy young Amy Rose, and would rather spend time with the (underage) two-tailed Miles. Not only that, but while most characters in the game sport clothes, Sonnic and Tails hang about butt-naked! Oh, and don't even get me started on Knuckles, who spends all his time alone on his floating island... wonder how he "satisfies" himsef?
In fact, the only straight game characters are licenced ones- like James Bond.
It really is a sad day for gaming

I guess you're talking about the "gays in games" topic...
Well, name one straight person (licenced characters don't count!)
Sonic
;o)

When we care about the characters in games as we play that means that the developers have done a good job at creating atmosphere. I mean, look at Ocarina of Time, I really wanted Link and Saria to get together because I felt -sorry- for them...oh god! what have I just said!?
-M-
The main bad guy is a cross-dressing transvestite, who is both incestuous to his comatosed sister, and pretends to be her. Wesker- the blonde guy who's sold his soul to the devil- clear;y can't be straight.
It's too weird!

And quite perverse really, but that dosn't excuse all the gay icons

But does he actually accept them!? No, he backs away. Hmmm...
