Impact dependent upon how much business British companies do in Euro zone compared to the rest of the world....
If UK enters at high parity then it may be uncompetitive.
Increased stability in exports to Euro zone, less unpredictability.

I found that out when I did a AS Level in the subject last year...Biggest load of crap ever.

Don't forget that we have to roughly syncronise our interest rates with those of europe which have a knock on effect on all businesses.
It would foreign transaction easier, which of course will save money in the long run (time IS money) there will also be fewer bank charges, as there will be no exchange fee.
The problem is that some firms that trade internationally can actually make further profit on the selling of goods due to exchange fluctuations. I don't know if there's an official term for this, but in the accounts it's put down to Profit/Loss on exchange. If they are trading at a loss of foreign sales then the Euro would be in their benefit, but on the other side of the coin they could lose some serious money if they are making further profit on each item sold.
The golden rule with any business studies homework is that you can put any crap down as long as you have a reasonable excuse to back it up! It doesn't have to be right as long as you make a convincing argument. The same extends to most subjects at school, with the obvious exception of maths and most science subjects.
