The government

The politicans that are all morons, happily bomb countries then go to church the next day.

Why do they have the right to say what a person can and cannot do to their own body...

Unless somebody is affected somebody else with their actions they should be allowed to do what they wish in their own home and own body.

Not I think it's right that people do certain things, but being called a criminal for doing something private that you want to do is wrong.

On a similar note, prisoners should not need to dear rape, bullying, murder etc in prison. They have their freedom taken away from them that is enough, treating them like animals is wrong... and also the way some people treat animals is wrong.

The world sucks

While technically you are correct, you are actually quite wrong

A**e.

If someone is so messed up from taking drugs that they don't realise it's doing them damage should we just let them get on with it? Despite the fact that they're damaging themselves, and the fact that it's probably hurting their family more than you can imagine?

Oh, but it's not affecting anyone else, is it? So that makes it ok?

What about the boy that sees his brother dying slowly, day by day, but can't do anything about it because "it's his own choice - he can inject that stuff if he wants to".

Utter crap.

Don't we, as intelligent rational human beings, have a responsibility to look after our fellow man? Yes, it may seem harsh to some, but at the end of the day the rules are there to protect us, whether you agree with that now or not doesn't matter.

By the time that you do come to realise it, it could well be too late. And your brother maybe the one watching you die, like I said above.

Still, that's ok though. It's your choice and it doesn't affect anyone else, does it?

Some people at school will treat me like crap, and then ask to borrow money. Sometimes I will refuse to give it to them, and sometimes I do give it to them. There's a small sense of satisfaction when I give 'em some of their own medicine, but I just feel...'better', when I do give it to them. You know, you're not bringing yourself down to their level. As always I would say this is based on my faith, but that doesn't mean no one else can do it.

Doing that tiny bit of good may not seem like much, but I suppose you could say it's one step closer to becoming a better person, and to creating a peaceful, kind world. But of course, someone will take us further back by murdering, or raping etc.

Humm...I'm trying to be positive here, and failing miserably. Ah well, there's always lollipops. Just look at the lollipop, and you shall find happiness.

Thanks Game. I was feeling a bit crappy this afternoon, but I'm much better now. I took that a bit like a slap to the face. :0D

If you are always polite and helpful, lots of people like you. Also, you don't get in trouble! I have yet to have mastered this...

Good sucks. Evil is everywhere, and to be good in that world does nothing.

Grix, you know I like you, and we're friends, right - but that is the stupidest thing i've heard for ages.

If NO-ONE does good, then the world will die...

The world isn't all bad. I could name thousands of things in the world that are very cool...

Love
Sunshine, although it isn't essentially in the world.
Golf Courses
Football
Games
Music
Fresh Air
Comedy

Politics can be summed up by 'a load of ponces arguing about nonsense', but to say that being good in such a messed up world is pointless just shows how much passion you have for life...

It's about time we started trying to do something for the world instead of just cursing it... I remember once you help a newbie find his feet in FOG, you showed him the ropes, so to speak and you felt good. How is that any different to doing good in the world... it the same, just to a different scale. There are berks in the world, and there are berks who post in FOG...

Doing good is never pointless.

A love coming home after a hard day a school to read a nice doomsday depressing topic...

But seriously, you guys are way too negative, if you can't do anything to change the situation then stop getting wound up in this circular logic and just enjoy life, many of your points are true but the moment you stop realising what you have is the moment you die (metaphor).

Seriously these topics are very depressing, but in a whole different way to the topics on pokemon forum. <:)
