Working closely with top men at Microsoft,Dyson have come up with a new peripheral that is said to revolutionise home gaming.
The Dyson SuXBox plugs straight into the controller port (further controllers can then be plugged into this) and created a number of powerfull suck'n'blow functions. Any games which feature outdoor areas will benefit from being able to have some wind effects. Temperature can also be set, so you could feel an icy arctic chill, or maybe the suction feature will be used to make you feel as though your being sucked into a furnace.
"I had the chance to play a demo featuring space flight, and the suck feature was used when my ship was being pulled in with a tractor-beam, it was awesome!" Said this lucky young gamer Anton McMacanackasack winner of an exclusive Microsoft competition to be the first to test such products.
Steve Ballmer was at hand to talk about the new product. "If I give you a Nintendo or a Playstation, you can hold the pad, and it might rumble a bit. Oooh, Mr Wobble-Hands, what a great feature! Slight trembles, how much has that added to the gaming experience! Well get ready to be blow away. For real! I tell you who loves this feature. Developers. Developers, developers, ceveloper, developers. That's what it's all about. I'll tell you another thing. No other company would have the balls to help bring you something like this, and I LOVE THIS COMPANY! Yeah!!!!"
At this point Steve started jumping around the stage, and huge rings of sweat begun to form on his shirt, but still he continued whooping with delight.
One thing's for sure though, the SuXBox is something really special, let's just hope developers can incorporate it into something really innovative!
