We all know that the XBOX just kicks butt and when it come online it is gonna rule, but i heard that you need to get a cable modam to play online. This is what let it all sound dull. I thought the XBOX got a built in brodband modem, so all i have to do is hook it up and play, but now i have to buy a cable modam, or rent one, for 55 pound a month. Please someone tell me this ain't true.

But if your online with broadband you dont need to worry as u need a modem to b broadband :)


I await my hub for the x-box

Erm it is true Im afraid.

All you get with the Xbox is the ethernet type connection to plug into a hub or switch.

Cable modems are about £25 a month with people like NTL for a speed of 512kb/sec.
