Who cares what it looks like it's Zelda. It is already destined to be a great game.

Err, guys, you look at the screenshots but have you seen the movie of it? This game is so smooth and the characters so amazingly animated, this game just oozes that Zelda style. And that's what I want: a Zelda game. The Zelda feel is not in the graphics, it's in the gameplay, the plot, the music, the characters...

Although I think the game will be amazing, there will always be that little bit of me that wants to play the ultra-realistic Zelda that was shown as a demo at the GC launch.

Shigeru Miyamoto is a genuis. So far (as I know) he hasn't made a game which has been graded below amazing. I find it hard to see that people think Zelda is going to be rubbish. Plus he is doing his best to get people to make 'mature' games for the GameCube one big example Resident Evil.
I took a good look at the cel shaded Zelda in the GameCube magazine and both my brother and I engaged in some spontaneous laughter. It truely looks abysmal, I would feel embarassed to play a game where Link looks like some five year old girl in a t-shirt that doesn't fit.

And a while a go Edgy, you said gameplay matters. Yes of course it does, but the game just looks so stupid. You have to draw the line somewhere.
I had another look at the JetSet cel shading and it actually suits the game, but it does not belong in a Zelda epic!
